• What Brands do you carry?

  We are authorized dealers for Napoleon, Town & Country, Valor, Astria, Empire, RH Peterson, Valor, Eiklor, Mendota and more. Our showroom has over 30 fully functional fireplaces on display in many different styles and configurations. We are always adding new displays to our lineup to keep things fresh. 

• Vented or Vent Free Fireplace?

  Vent Free Fireplaces burn with 99.9% efficiency so they  are completely vent-free, and do not require a chimney or piping, making them a perfect fireplace for those with limited options for chimneys. Vented fireplaces do require a chimney to allow gases to escape, but are our go to for those with working chimneys. Check out our Gas Logs Guide to learn more. 

• Whats better, gas or electric fireplaces?

  One of the best things about gas fireplaces is that they provide excellent heat and a hearth flame with the click of a remote. There is wide variety of sizes and aesthetic choices in gas fireplaces and considerably more leeway in terms of venting (inserts, direct-vent and vent-free models) than that offered by wood-burning fireplaces.

  Electric fireplaces biggest advantage is that they can be installed without a fireplace, making them very easy to install. We did carry them for a few years, but we ended up having so many issues with them that we no carry or recommend them to any of our customers. 

• Decorative or functional fireplace?

  First you’ll have to decide what type of fireplace is right for you and your family. Will the unit be a source of primary heat or will it be used for decorative purposes? Is ease of use and maintenance a priority? What kind of fuel do you prefer? These questions should help you determine whether you’d like an electric, gas or wood burning fireplace.

• How do I measure my fireplace?

  To ensure we pick the correct size log set for your fireplaces, you need to get 4 measurements: Front Width, Back Width, Height, and depth of your fireplace. For more information please visit our Gas Log Guide.
